Pipedrive's Leads Inbox is where a sales team decides who to call first. It only works for Facebook leads if they get there while the person still remembers your ad. Download a CSV from Meta at the end of the day and your reps are calling people who filled the form hours ago.
This guide shows how to connect Facebook lead ads to Pipedrive step by step, in about three minutes, with no CSV exports and no Zapier. Every lead lands in the Leads Inbox with the label and owner you pick, and every form answer as a note, so the right rep can call within minutes.
Facebook keeps instant-form leads in Leads Center, so you need a connector to send them to Pipedrive. In LeadSender: connect Facebook, choose Facebook Leads to Pipedrive, pick your Page and form, paste your API token, pick a label and an owner, then turn it on. Every new lead lands in your Leads Inbox within seconds.
How to connect Facebook lead ads to Pipedrive with LeadSender
Start a free trial and connect Facebook
Start your 7-day free trial of LeadSender (no card needed) and sign in with the Facebook account that manages your Page. That lets LeadSender hear about each new lead the moment it's submitted.
Choose the Pipedrive template
From Integrations, pick Facebook Leads to Pipedrive. Then select your Facebook Page and the lead form you want to send.
Select your Pageand lead form
Copy your Pipedrive API token
In Pipedrive, open Settings, then Personal preferences, and click the API tab. Copy Your personal API token. Don't click Generate new token unless you mean to: it switches off the old token everywhere it's used.
Copy your API tokenConnect Pipedrive
Back in LeadSender, click Connect next to Pipedrive and paste the token. LeadSender checks it with Pipedrive straight away and finds your company account on its own, and the token stays on LeadSender's servers. There's no OAuth screen and nothing to approve on Pipedrive's side.
Click Connect
Paste your API tokenPick lead labels and an owner
Under Lead labels, choose the labels every Facebook lead gets, from your account's own: Hot, Warm, Cold or ones you made. Under Lead owner, choose the rep who gets them. Both are optional; leave the owner on the default and Pipedrive makes the person whose API token you used the owner.

Match your fields, test and turn on
In Match your fields, name, email and phone are matched for you. Match a company question to Company name and the lead is linked to an Organization too, plus any of your Person custom fields. Then click Send a test lead. Need a fresh lead to test with? Create one with our free Meta Lead Ads Testing Tool.
The test shows exactly what reached Pipedrive:
What Pipedrive receivedOpen Leads Inbox in Pipedrive and the test lead is already there, titled with the lead's name, with your owner and label set and the answers in its notes. When it looks right, click Turn on. From then on every new lead from that form, on Facebook or Instagram, lands in Pipedrive within seconds.
Added in secondsWhich fields reach Pipedrive
LeadSender reads your account's real fields, so you only ever see fields that exist in your Pipedrive.
| Pipedrive field | What happens |
|---|---|
| First and last name | Become the Person's name. With only a full name, it's used as is |
| Added to the Person, and used to find a repeat lead | |
| Phone | The Person's phone number |
| Company name | Finds or creates the Organization and links the Person to it |
| Your custom fields | Person custom fields, matched to any form answer |
| Every answer | Added to the lead as a note, matched or not |
Custom fields that need an amount, a date range, a time range or an address aren't offered: a free-text Facebook answer can't fill them reliably. Added a field in Pipedrive after setting up? Click Refresh fields.
Labels, owners and repeat leads
- Lead labels: every Facebook lead gets the labels you picked, so the inbox shows at a glance which ones came from your ads.
- Lead owner: every new lead goes to the owner you picked. A brand new Person gets that owner too; a Person already in Pipedrive keeps theirs.
- Notes: every answer from the form is on the lead as a note, including answers you didn't match to a field, so nothing the lead said is lost.
- Repeat leads: LeadSender finds the Person by email, so a second enquiry updates the same Person and adds a new lead to the inbox instead of a duplicate Person.
Running ads for different teams or areas? Set up one integration per lead form, each with its own owner and label, and every lead lands with the right rep without a routing rule.
LeadSender vs Zapier vs CSV imports
| LeadSender | Zapier | CSV import | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | From $9.99/mo | From $29.99/mo (Facebook Lead Ads is a premium app) | Free |
| Speed | ✓ Seconds | Depends on plan | ✗ Whenever you remember |
| Setup | ✓ About 3 minutes, guided | ⚠ Build and test a Zap | ⚠ Every time, by hand |
| Repeat leads | ✓ Updates the existing Person | ⚠ Extra search step in the Zap | ⚠ Merge by hand |
| Label and owner | ✓ Picked once, set on every lead | ⚠ Set up step by step | ⚠ By hand |
| Failed leads | ✓ Reason and resend in Run history | Zap history | None |
Short version: CSV imports are fine for a one-off list, but every hour of delay costs you conversations. Zapier works if you already pay for a premium Zapier plan. LeadSender is the simplest way to get every Facebook lead into Pipedrive the moment it comes in. More in LeadSender vs Zapier.
When a Facebook lead doesn't show up in Pipedrive
- “Pipedrive stopped accepting LeadSender's connection”: the API token was regenerated. Copy the new one from Personal preferences, API, then click Reconnect on Destinations. Every integration on that account works again.
- “This lead has no email matched”: LeadSender needs the email to find repeat leads in Pipedrive. Match your form's email question to Email.
- The lead is there but has no label: the label was deleted in Pipedrive, so the lead was added without it rather than not at all. Pick a label again and save.
- A custom field rejected the value: for example, text in a number field. Run history shows Pipedrive's exact reason; unmatch that field or change the question.
- Nothing at all: check the integration is turned on, then send a test lead and read the result. Every attempt is listed in Run history.
